By adding material to the existing project structure you create a unique item structure to be used for the project/quotation when manufacturing orders are created from the element line.
- Select the Work with projects menu item.
- You access Work with project orders. Select the project you want to work with and click Details.
- You access Phase maintenance. Select the phase to which you want to add a structure and click Elements. (Tip: You can also access the element level of the project by clicking the Level function key on the initial Work with project orders panel and then selecting the Element level).
- You access Phase element maintenance. Select the element line to which you want to add material and click Struct.
- You access Structure maintenance where you have to specify if you start maintenance of materials or operations. Complete the following selection field:
- Selection
- Indicate what type of structure maintenance is to be performed by ticking one of the following: Material, Operations or Copy.
- You access Material structure maintenance. Click Add to add a new material to the structure. (Note: If no material exists for the item structure you will access add mode directly).
- On the Material structure maintenance detail panel, complete the following fields:
- Seq no
- Enter the sequence number of the component with intervals allowing the possibility of putting in new material records between the existing ones.
- Component item
- Enter the component item to be included as a component in the material structure.
- Var
- Enter the variant of the component.
- Quantity
- Enter the quantity of the component.
- Note: You can enter several material structure records at the same time.
- Select a material record and click Change to maintain detailed information.
- Select a material record and click Delete to remove it from the project structure.
- Select a material record and click Lower material to maintain the material structure of a lower level.
- Select a material record and click Lower operation to maintain the operations of the lower level.
- Click Operations to go to Operations maintenance for this level.
For this task, tick Material and click OK.
Click OK to confirm the update of the project structure. Then return to the previous panel that displays all included material in the structure. You have several options on this panel. You can:
