The sub-heading of this panel differs depending on which option you selected on the previous panel. It can be one of the following:
- Location types, pick units
- Location types, put away units
- Location types, stock count units
On this panel you can attach or detach preferred pick/put away/stock counts units for an item and location type combination. The panel displays all units defined for the selected item on the Units panel in the Item file.
Options
| Attach | Select this option to attach a pick/put away/stock unit to the item and location type combination. |
| Change | This option is only displayed if the CONTAINR (Container handling) function is activated in the Function control file and is only applicable if the pick unit is attached to the location type. Select this option to enter/change the labelling code denoting the information that will be printed when container pick lists are printed. One label will be printed for each quantity in the container. |
| Detach | Select this option to detach a pick/put away/stock unit from the item and location type combination. |
Function keys
Selection fields
- Item
- Displays the item you are maintaining and its description.
- Location type
- Displays the selected location type.
- Unit
- This column lists the existing units for the selected item. Note: If one or several units already are attached, then only those are displayed on this panel to easily detach them. Should you want to view the units that are not attached to the selected item/location type, then set the Attached selection field to NO and click OK.
- Attached
- This column denotes if the unit is attached to the item/location type combination.
- Default
- This column is only displayed if the Stock count units option was selected on the previous panel. It denotes if the unit is defined as the default stock count unit for the item, which is retrieved from the Units panel in the Item file, but can be manually entered or changed.
- Label
- This column is only displayed if the CONTAINR (Container handling) function is activated in the Function control file. It displays the labelling code that was added to the pick unit, denoting the information that will be printed when pick lists are printed. One label will be printed for each quantity in the container.
Item file maintenance, Location types (WMR01301)
- Item
- Displays the item you are maintaining and its description.
- Location type
- Displays the selected location type.
- Unit
- Displays the selected pick unit.
- Label
- This field is only displayed if the CONTAINR (Container handling) function is activated in the Function control file. Enter the labelling code for the pick unit, denoting the information that will be printed when pick lists are printed. One label will be printed for each quantity in the container.
