For each user account you want to create, do as follows:
- Select User.
- Click New.
- You access the New user window:
- User
- Enter the code for the user.
- Description
- Enter the user name.
- Enter the user’s e-mail address.
- Password
- Enter the password for the user. When creating a new user account, you may want to enter a “use once” password. By enabling the Force password change, the user will be forced to change the password at first sign on.
- Customer
- Select the customer number in IBS Enterprise that is associated to this user account. This means that this user will be able to access and change information for the selected IBS Enterprise customer number only. If you want this user account to have access to several customers’ data, then check the Several customers allowed box, described below. This will allow you to connect several customer numbers to this user account. (You do this via the Customers push button, which will be available in edit mode after creation of this account.)
- The following rules apply:
- If no customer is selected/entered, the user will be prompted at sign on, where they must choose which customer to use.
- If several customers are allowed, this customer is the default customer, if entered.
- The Default NetStore user does not have any associated customer.
- User group
- If you want this user to be part of a user group, select that applicable from the drop down list.
- Language
- Select the language applicable for this user.
- Locale
- Select the locale that will be used to format and edit information (e.g., dates, times, amounts, etc.). This is similar to Regional settings on your PC.
- Assistance level
- Not currently used.
- Active
- Activate or inactivate this user account.
- Note: Inactivated accounts cannot sign on. A user account will automatically be inactivated when the maximum number of sign on attempts has been exceeded. This is defined on Application level.
- System administrator
- Check this box if this user should be allowed to access NetStore Administration.
- Several customers allowed
- Check this box if you want to connect several IBS Enterprise customer numbers to this user account. See illustration under sub-section Customer mapping.
- Password enabled
- NetStore allows you to bypass the entry of a password. If this user account should always enter a password at sign on, check this box.
- Force password change
- Check this box if you want the user of this account to change the password as soon as he/she accesses a page that requires sign on.

- For the applicable user, click Edit.
- Select that applicable, choosing from among Settings, Text or Links (see About setting up and managing your site for instructions) and Customers.
