Secure a menu item

The process of securing a menu item is very similar to that described in Secure an application, with the following exceptions:

  1. Repeat steps 1-2, but select the group *MNUITEM (Menu item control) instead.
  2. Repeat steps 3-8 according to the instructions.
  3. Repeat step 9, but enter the applicable program ID, e.g. FMR033, in Object as the object to be secured.
  4. Repeat steps 10-12.

    5. Click OK to update. Exit the routine.
