Prerequisites
The campaign items must exist in the Item file.

A promotion campaign chain starts with the base item, which is replaced by the next item in the chain, if entered on a sales/quotation order. This item in turn is replaced by the next item in the chain and so on. Each campaign item is only valid during a specific campaign period, which is defined in the Item file/Item cross references panel. The chain may contain as many cross reference items as required, but only one per base item and period is valid.

  1. Select the Work with items menu item.
  2. Select the item to which you want to add promotion campaign items and click Change. The selected item will become the base item in the campaign chain.

You can add several campaign items to the chain for different validity periods. When you are ready, click Back.

  5. You return to the header panel where the different campaign chains that belong to the selected base item are displayed.
  6. Exit the routine.
