You can set up investment budgets and link them to active assets and budget assets in the Asset file. See About working with assets for more information. This gives you the ability to:
- Manage investment budgets by receiving information from the system on:
- How much money is allocated to each investment budget.
- What budget money has been allocated to specific budget assets and active assets.
- How much there is left to acquire in each investment budget.
- Analyse budget assets versus actual investments.
Enquiries and printouts
- Investment budget enquiry – displays information about the budget situation.
- Investment budget list – contains information about the budget situation. The list provides a comparison of total amount per budget in relation to acquired and budgeted assets. The list also displays how much there is left to acquire.
