Work with service objects, Warranty information (SOR04404)
This panel is used to add, or maintain warranty information for a given service object. When the warranty information is updated, the service object history log will be updated. Warranty types are automatically updated to the object from the Item file, when the object is sold or manually created.
- Warranty type
- Enter a warranty type from the Warranty type table.
- Warranty start date
- Enter a warranty start date.
- Duration
- Enter the time span in months for the warranty of the service object. Duration is defaulted from the Warranty type table, when adding the warranty type.
- Warranty end date
- Enter the warranty end date for the object. Note: This field is only mandatory, if you leave Duration blank. Otherwise, this field is automatically calculated.
