The purpose of this program is to create a manufacturing order that is connected to a project element.
If no project structure is entered there will be a warning. A new field will be opened and you will be asked if you would like to copy an item structure before the manufacturing order is created.
A manufacturing order network is created if this is indicated by the manufacturing order type.
All created manufacturing orders will be updated with the project number.
The project element will be updated with the manufacturing order that refers to the element item (order link information).

Initially the order type is retrieved from Work with IBS user profiles.
- Variant
- This field is only displayed if the Variant handling field is set to YES in the MFG control file, and if the Struct handl field is set to 2 (additional material) for the project line. The code indicates the item variant that should be used for the creation of the manufacturing order. The manufacturing order will be based on both the item structure as well as any existing project structures.
- Start date
- The start date of the manufacturing order. Forward planning will be executed.
- Completion date
- The completion date of the manufacturing order. This is the default dispatch date from the project element. Backward planning will be executed.
- Maintain order
- Indicates if you want to maintain the created manufacturing order.
- Copy item structure
- This field is only displayed if no project structure exists for the selected element. Indicates if the item structure should be copied.
