On this panel you can define quality control values for the item structure header. The quality control, which is based on the conformity group that is connected to the item, can be performed either during operation reporting or product reception. On this panel you specify if, where and when the control should be performed.
Note: The values defined for the structure header are applicable for all operations connected to the structure. If different quality control values are defined for a specific operation, these will override the values entered on this panel.

- Conformity group
- Warehouse
-
If the STKOWNER (Stock Ownership) function is activated in the Function control file, the warehouse entered must be classified as a normal or trade (logical) warehouse (i.e. the Warehouse characteristic flag in Work with warehouses must be set to 1 (normal) or 2 (trade)). See About the stock ownership functionality for more information.
- Variant
- Description
- The description of the item structure.
- Structure quantity
- Structure unit
- Manufact order type
- This field is an optional field and is not allowed for items defined as configured (item class 3). Enter the manufacturing order type used for creating manfacturing orders. This order type will replace the predefined order type in the Work with IBS user profiles or the MFG control file.
- Standard quantity PC
- Optional entry. Enter the standard quantity for calculating the item cost. This quantity can be used as a variable in the cost model. Note: This is only allowed on variants (not main 000), as this standard quantity is only used for product costing simulation.
- Alt prod method
- This optional field indicates if the alternative product(s) should have any influence on the component quantity. The code indicates the options that you can select to achieve the required functionality.
Code Description 1 Share. The alternative product will have no impact on the component quantity. Component quantity and Operation time are calculated based on the planned quantity. 2 Additional. Alternative products will increase the component quantity. Component quantity and Operation time are calculated based on the order quantity.
- Operation/Reception
- Define if and how often the quality control should be performed in operation reporting and/or reception by completing the quality control definition fields below. Note: The following quality control fields are only displayed if the MQC_REC and/or MQ_OPER function controls are activated. Note: Apart from the QC always field, which is mandatory, only one of the quality control definition fields may be completed per column (Operation/Reception).
- QC always
Mandatory entry. Indicates if a quality control always should be performed during manufacturing operation reporting and/or reception. Note: If this field is set to NO and a quality control interval is defined in one of the quality definition fields below, the quality control will be performed according to the specified interval. - QC interval days
The number of days that must pass before the next quality control is performed. The new date is retrieved from the manufacturing calendar in the MFG control file. - QC interval time
This is only valid for operation reporting. The number of reported hours that must pass before the next quality control is performed. The quality control first checks the machine time, and if no machine time is entered the run/labour time is used. Note: If a time interval is defined on operation level, that value will override the time interval entered here on header level. - QC interval rep/rec
The number of reported operations or received manufacturing orders that must be handled before the next quality control is performed. - QC interval qty
The quantity in stock unit that must be reported or received before the next quality control is performed.
- QC always
- Last QC trigger date
- The last date that a quality control was performed for the item.
- Rec since last QC
- The number of manufacturing orders that have been received since the last quality control was performed for the item.
- Qty since last QC
- The quantity in stock unit that has been received since the last quality control was performed for the item.
- Maintenance option
- The code indicates what maintenance panel to be accessed for the selected item structure.
Code Description 1 Material. You will access the Structure maintenance, Bill of material panel. 2 Operations. You will access the Structure maintenance, Bill of routing panel. 3 Item criteria. You will access the Structure header, Conf criteria panel. Note: This option is only valid when the MQC_REC function is activated. 4 Alternative/co-product. You will access the Structure maintenance, Alternative/co-products panel. 5 Header text. You will access the Item structure header, Edit text panel. 6 No maintenance. The information entered on this panel is saved and you exit the structure routine.
