The purpose of this program is to define valid printers for the IBS Enterprise company.
Options
Selection fields
- Printer
- This column lists the names of the printers that have been defined.
- Description
- This column lists the descriptions of the printers that have been defined.
- Default
- Indicates if the corresponding printer should be used as the default printer.
- Printer type
- Displays the code for the printer type of the corresponding printer.
Printer type Description 0 Send to normal iSeries (iSeries) printer. 1 Send to Adobe printer. 2 Send to Adobe (Accemail) mail 3 Send to Adobe (Accefax) fax 4 Send to Adobe PDF view. This requires that you have the Adobe Present View Manager software installed on your PC. 7 Send to DB file for Excel.
- Pipe queue
- Displays the outqueue that overrides the Pipe outqueue defined in the Accelio control file.
Work with printer queues (ASGD95704)
The purpose of this program is to define valid printers for the IBS Enterprise company.
Function keys
- Printer
- Enter the printer name. This will also be the name of an outqueue in the IBS Enterprise system. It will be created if it does not exist.
- Description
- Enter a description of the printer. This will also be the description of the outqueue. If the outqueue already exists, the description of the outqueue will be retrieved and displayed as default. It can be overridden. The description will be used for both the table printer record and the outqueue.
Note: If the outqueue already exists you must have authority to change it. Otherwise the outqueue will remain unchanged.
- Default
- This field is only valid for Accelio print. Indicate if the printer should be used as the default printer. Only one printer is allowed to be the default printer. This is used in the handling of IBS Enterprise documents and if a valid Accelio printer is not entered in the printout prompt panel the default printer is used.
- Printer type
- Enter the code for the type of print.

- Printer
- Displays the printers you selected to copy.
- New printer
- Enter the new printers that you are creating.
