The control categories are control files used to define different control parameters for demand plan. The control category is only used while creating a new demand plan. Once the new demand plan is created, the values of the control categories are copied to the demand plan header, after which, even deleting the control category will not affect the demand plan. Control category *Default is preloaded in the system.
You assign the control category to the demand plan using the Control category field on the Work with demand plans panel.
