This panel displays the alternative products or co-products that have been defined for the item. Alternative products can, for example, be defined if the quality of the produced end item varies. Instead of scrapping the non-conforming items you define them as alternative. The normal item and the alternative items are separated by different item codes.
By specifying item codes, you define the alternative items that may be produced. If you, based on statistics or experience, know how many alternative products normally are produced along with the normal item, this can be stated in either quantity or percentage. If the assumed amount of alternative products is unknown to you, you can leave out the quantity/percentage and report the alternative quantities later on in the manufacturing order reception routine.
